Multi Frame NR

The camera shoots multiple images with burst shooting and overlays the images. The image is recorded with noise reduced by up to two levels as compared to shooting with normal ISO sensitivity.

  1. Select MENU → [Application] → [Multi Frame NR].

  2. To change the ISO sensitivity, select MENU → [ISO] → desired sensitivity.

  3. Press the shutter button to shoot images.

  4. To end [Multi Frame NR], select MENU → [Exit Application]*

    * If [EXIT] is displayed on the screen of the camera, select [EXIT] to exit the application.

Notes

  • [Multi Frame NR] is available when the shooting mode is set to [P], [A], [S] or [M].

    When the shooting mode is set to other than [P], [A], [S] or [M], the shooting mode will automatically switch to [P] (Only for models not equipped with a mode dial). When the shooting mode is switched to [P] automatically and you select playback mode, Program Shift will be canceled.

  • When [Quality] is set to [RAW] or [RAW & JPEG], [Quality] is changed to [Fine] when using [Multi Frame NR].
  • When you use [Multi Frame NR], some camera functions are limited.

    When you exit [Multi Frame NR], the limited functions will be returned to the original setting.

  • Tracking focus, Spot AF and touch shutter functions cannot be operated by touching the screen, even if you are using a model equipped with a touch panel.
  • Only the composite image will be recorded.
